# $ASH token utility

* **Prospect land:** Prospect for resources on your land to extract them with a mining facility.

* **Build Facilities:** Build Infrastructure such as Research Centers, Mines, or Production Facilities to find new technologies, extract resources, or produce goods.

* **Upgrade infrastructure:** Upgrade your infrastructure to increase mining production, storage or production speeds.

* **Purchase resources:** Use $ASH to trade on DEX/CEXs to acquire resources you need to further build facilities and produce gear and weapons.

* **Unlock a safe:** $ASH holders can stake $ASH to help Citadel players open locked-up safes they find in the game. Opening such a safe requires a credit card payment which will be converted into $ASH and sent in the Empires Safe Unlocking staking program to be shared among its participants according to their staking share.

* **Research:** Stake $ASH to research new technologies to acquire Production Licenses that will allow you to sell order permits to players in **AoM: Citadels**, and manufacture the product for them.

* **Increase production speed:** Use your $ASH to increase production speed when orders surge

* **Earn Resources:** Stake $ASH to earn various resources during special events to further grow your resource inventory

* **Delegate $ASH:** Increase your own or your favorite corporation's production by delegating your $ASH.

* **Credit Card payments:** Players who use credit cards to purchase Cosmetics or Order Licenses have their payments converted into $ASH tokens who are then sent back to the selling Corporation

* **Various payments:** Throughout AoM, various transaction fees are fed in the form of $ASH into AoM's staking program, making the staking economy sustainable.

More use cases are in the process of being added to the game.
